In that issue we also examined some of what I Corinthians 13 says about love. Today, we will continue with the consideration of some more passages of the Word of God on the same topic, that will help us to appreciate the importance of love better.
1. Love: the new commandment
To start this second part on love, we will go to the gospel of John. What we will read happened in the night of the arrest of Jesus Christ. During that night, Jesus gave many instructions to the disciples and a large portion of the gospel of John is exactly devoted to it (John 13-17). Among the things that Jesus told the disciples that night was also something that he characterised as a new commandment. John 13:34 tells us:
"A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another."
The new commandment that Jesus gave was to love one another. The great importance that he gave to this commandment is showed by the fact that he repeated it two more times the same night. John 15:12-17 tells us:
"This is my commandment, that you LOVE ONE ANOTHER as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends. You are my friends if you do whatever I command you. No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from my Father I have made known to you. You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in my name He may give you. These things I command you, that you LOVE ONE ANOTHER"
Jesus Christ commands us to love one another, and in fact to love one another as much as he loved us. But how much he loved us? Ephesians 5:2 tells us:
"And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us AND [as a result of his love] given himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling aroma."
Jesus Christ loved us so much that he gave his life for us. It is with such kind of love that he also commands us to love one another. "Love one another AS I have loved you", he said. He characterised love for one another as a COMMAND, as something that should necessarily be done. I Peter 1:22 also tells us:
I Peter 1:22
"Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the spirit in sincere love of the brethren, LOVE ONE ANOTHER FERVENTLY WITH A PURE HEART"
Moreover: I Peter 4:8
"And ABOVE ALL THINGS HAVE FERVENT LOVE FOR ONE ANOTHER"
Above all things we are to love one another. And in fact to love one another fervently. So fervently as Jesus loved us.
2. Love: the fulfillment of the law
In John 13:34 we saw that Jesus characterized love for one another as a new commandment. This may have made some of us to wonder why he characterized it as such. Was it because it was commanded for first time? Obviously not for it is contained in the book of Leviticus that was written hundreds of years earlier. Really, Leviticus 19:18 tells us:
"you shall love your neighbor as yourself"
Literally speaking therefore, the commandment that Jesus gave was not a new commandment. Why therefore he called it new? The simple reason is that though love was a commandment of the law, till then it was not possible to be kept. Really, love being a product of the new nature, it needs the new nature to be produced, and till that day, the new nature was not available. Thus though people were commanded to love one another they could not actually keep this commandment. However, from the day of Pentecost onwards people can freely receive the new nature by confessing with their mouth the Lord Jesus and believing in their heart that God raised him from the dead, and thus they can love. That's why Jesus called love for one another a new commandment. It was not new because it was commanded for first time but because soon (from the day of Pentecost) it would become possible to be kept.
In fact, the commandment to love one another was not the only commandment of the law that it was impossible to be kept, because people lacked the new nature. Romans 8:3 characterise the whole law as "weak through the flesh [the old nature]". The problem with the law was not that it was bad. In contrast, Romans 6:12 tells us that it was "holy and just and good". However, there was no way to be kept and the reason was that the new nature was not available. As Romans 6:4 says: "the law is spiritual" but its subjects were "carnal, under sin". Thus people could not keep the law. However, from the day that the new nature was made available, one can love and by this he automatically fulfills all the law. Indeed, Romans 13:8-10 tells us:
"Owe no one anything, except to love one another, FOR HE WHO LOVES ANOTHER HAS FULFILLED THE LAW. For the commandments, "You shall not commit adultery," "You shall not murder," You shall not steal," You shall not bear false witness," You shall not covet," and if there is any other commandment are ALL summed up in this saying, namely, "You shall love your neighbour as yourself" Love does not harm to a neighbour; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law."
Also: Galatians 5:13-14
"For you brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity, but through love serve one another. FOR ALL THE LAW IS FULFILLED IN ONE WORD, EVEN IN THIS: "YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOUR AS YOURSELF"
Jesus Christ by his sacrifice, ended the administration of the law, opening at the same time a new administration, the administration of grace. However, many of the things that the law said continue to be valid in the present administration as well. For example, the commandments that we should not steal or commit adultery, or murder, or lie are also commandments of our administration. Now, according to the above passage to fulfill any commandment of the law, which may also be commandment of our administration, what is needed is nothing else but LOVE. As the passage says: LOVE is the fulfillment of the law and all the commandments are all summed up in the commandment to love one another as ourselves. We do not have to focus our minds on a list of do and don'ts like, "I should not steal, I should not murder, I should not commit adultery, I should not lie etc...." but we love and all these are not going to happen. For when we love we will neither lie, nor steal, nor murder etc. We do not start pointing out the negative (I should not do...) but we love and the negative will be eliminated. As Galatians 5:16 says: "Walk by the spirit [the new nature] and [as a result] you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh [the old nature]". When you walk in love, you walk by the spirit, the new nature, and as a result you will not fulfill the lust of the old nature i.e. you will not steal, murder, commit adultery or do anything else that is a product of this nature.
3. Love: necessary to know God
Another passage that shows us the importance and the necessity of love is I John 4:7-8. There it says:
I John 4:7-8
"Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love"
As the passage says: "he who does not love does not know God". Truly, God gave us the Scripture to know Him since there He reveals Himself. Nevertheless, as it is clear this cannot be done by head knowledge alone. It also needs LOVE. Even if someone has full head knowledge of the Scripture, he will not know God if this knowledge is not accompanied with love. As I Corinthians 13:1-3 tells us:
I Corinthians 13:1-3
"Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have prophecy, and understand [Greek: "know"] all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing."
This passage does not say that prophecy, the great faith, the speaking in tongues etc. are bad or that the speaking in tongues and the other operations of the spirit (see I Corinthians 12:8-10) are not in existence now and should not be done. What the passage says is that if I do all these without love I am nothing. It does not profit. Even if I have rightly divided all the Bible and I am a monster of knowledge, a "concordance", I am nothing if I do not love. Even if I spent all my life and money for God, I am nothing, if I do not love. Even if I have given my body to be burned, i.e. even if I am so much committed to God, I am nothing if I do not love. For if I do not love I am still ignorant of God, who is love. People who know less and love more will know God better than I. As I Corinthians 8:1-3 says:
I Corinthians 8:1-3
"Now concerning things offered to idols: we know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffs up, but loves edifies. And if anyone thinks that he knows anything, he knows nothing yet as he ought to know. But if anyone loves God, this one is known by Him."
The knowledge is not bad. However, when it is not accompanied with love, it will not result to a knowledge of God but rather to a puffing up. Moreover, the same passage in combination with I John 4:20-21 makes clear that the argument goes also the other way round i.e. if we do not love one another not only we will not know God but also we will not be known by Him.
I Corinthians 8:3
"if anyone loves God, this one is known by Him"
I John 4:20-21
"If someone says, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? And this commandment we have from him: that he who loves God must love his brother also"
We cannot say that we love God when we do not love one another. In other words, love for one another is a prerequisite to love God. Since now love towards God is a prerequisite to be known by Him and since it first requires love for one another we can easily conclude that love for one another is a prerequisite to be known by God. Therefore, what does it take both to know and to be known by God? The answer is LOVE.
4. Love: not by words
We saw previously that Jesus Christ loved us, and he showed it by giving himself for us. From this it is evident that love takes action, giving. You may give the Word, you may give encouragement, part of your time, money etc. but the thing is that love is ready to give and to really support when it is needed. I John 3:16-17 tells us:
I John 3:16-17
"By this we know love, because he laid down his life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoever has this world's goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his bowels of compassion from him, how does the love of God abide in him?"
Jesus showed His love for us BY GIVING his life for us. We know by this that he loves us. Similarly we should also love one another and show our love by the corresponding acts when it is needed. For really for what love we could speak if we see a fellow member of the body, a brother or sister in Christ, to be in need and we are indifferent, when we know that we can help? Obviously this does not constitute love. Love is not a theoretic concept but something that has to be manifested in acts. As I John 3:18 says:
I John 3:18
"My little children, let us not love in word or in a tongue, but in deed and in truth."
Our love is not to be in words but in deed and in truth. It is not to be in theory but in practice. It is not to be like in James 2:15-16:
"If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, and one of you says to them, "Depart in peace, be warmed and filled," but you do not give to them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit?"
It is so easy to love in words, to know all the "theory" about love. To say "God bless you." No it is not bad. But it has to be accompanied by the necessary actions when it is needed. As Galatians 5:13 tells us we ought to SERVE one another through love. We are not to be indifferent to one another, and run away when a fellow member of the body needs our support.
Having said all these, some people may ask, how can we know whether someone genuinely needs our support, and how can we know whether someone whose needs we do not know exactly or at all, needs us? The answer is through God's spirit. God has put His spirit in us, so that He can tell us what to do, if to do, when to do, how to do. As Philippians 2:13 says:
"for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure"
God has put His spirit in us and works through it. We have therefore to listen to the promptings of God's spirit and to leave it to work in us. Love does not mean I do whatever comes in my head, because I may esteem it as beneficial. What love means is that I am ready, available, to do through love whatever the spirit of God in me prompts me to do, for whoever he prompts me. Thus, I do not give to the whoever comes in my way and asks money, for he may not actually need it. Instead I give to that man or for that purpose that God tells me. God knows who has a genuine need and who has not. He knows who needs support and who does not. He knows how to utilise our love with the best way for His interests.
5. Love: it should be honest
Though from the previous part and generally from the discussion that we have done by now it should already be clear that love cannot be but only honest, based on a genuine interest and concern for the fellow members of the body, let's also go to Romans 12:9 to see it better. There we read:
"Let love be without hypocrisy"
The phrase "without hypocrisy" is one word in the Greek: the adjective "anupokritos" that is composed of the word "an" a prefix that gives to a word a negative meaning, and the noun "hupokrisia" from which the English derive the word "hypocrisy". "hypocrisia" means to pretend to have a quality that you do not actually have or to be something that you are not. For example, II Corinthians 11:13-15 tells us that Satan "TRANSFORMS himself into an angel of light" and his servants "TRANSFORM themselves into the ministers of righteousness". This transformation of Satan and his servants to something that they are not is called hypocrisy.
Returning now to Romans 12:9, it asks us to not pretend that we love having probably in mind something else, but to honestly love. Only honest love is real love. The same is also said in I Peter 1:22
I Peter 1:22
"Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the spirit in SINCERE [anupokritos] LOVE of the brethren, love one another fervently WITH A PURE HEART"
Our love is to come from a pure heart, to be sincere and true. To be not in word but in truth and in deed. To be fervent.
May therefore we grow in our love towards one another and in our appreciation that we all belong to one and the same body, the body of Christ, and to one and the same family, the family of God and we are brothers to each other. May we put love above everything else for love "is the bond of perfection" (Collosians 3:14). May, we overlook the weaknesses that each one of us has and love one another out of a pure heart, honestly and without hypocrisy.

During the meeting on the first step discussing about the false teaching from other false teachers in Cambodia to our brothers and sisters in faith of Christ Jesus, according to the Great Commission, which are written in Matthew 28:18-20.
Especially we focus to the evangelism of Jesus Christ by its definition that is the commitment to or act of publicly preaching of the Gospel with the intention of spreading the message and teaching of Jesus Christ.
Christian groups who encourage evangelism are sometimes known as evangelistic or evangelist. The scriptures so not use the word evangelism, but evangelist is used in (the translations of) Acts 21:8, Ephesians 4:11, and 2Timothy 4:5. The Testimony of A BOY, KHI PHEAREAK
in OUDDOR MEANCHEY Province
A 12-year-old boy whose name's Khi Pheareak, who had been an orphan that his mother died by disease, and he lives with his old illness-father who is unable to go out for working to support his family. And both of them are living in a small old cottage, which is badly torn thatch roof and wall that is located in O'Pi village, Anlong Veng commune, Anlong Veng district, Oddar Meanchey province. Sometimes, the nephew Pheareak has to sit down on his knees, shivering his jaws, naked body, with an old shorts, looking at his sickness father, who is skinny, with deep sunken eyes, and his lips were dry with bushy hair, and his body under an old blanket. In the back of nephew Pheareak, there was only porridge pot, which is mixed with rain water that comes down into for a half pot ready. Where the stoves and firewood are wet by the rain. As cold as the sky is darker, the black clouds are covered on the earth, and the rain fall is still continue without stopping, while the wind is still blowing the branches up and down that grow near the lonely cottage that is located in the huge rice-fields. The tree branches under the wind are moving up and Mixed with the scared thunderstorms and lightning.
Oddar Meanchey Province is a province in the northeastern part of Cambodia, bordering with Thailand: Borei Ram, Surin, and Sisaket, with a length of 224 km, dividing our land and Thai by mountains. Drift (no plains) with Thailand are mountainous, with only 5 check-point entrances: Chub Koki, Thmor Daun, O-Smatch, Chorm Sagnam, and Preah Prolay. Southern to Siem Reap Province - Eastern to Preah Vihear Province - Western to Banteay Meanchey Province, Oddar Meanchey Province, 439 km from Phnom Penh, Traveling along National Highway 6A and through Kandal Province, Kampong Cham and Continue through National Road #6 from Skun rlound-about through Kampong Thom, Siem Reap provinces to Kralanh district of Siem Reap, crossing road to the North direction on Road 68 to Oddar Meanchey Province. The population in Otdar Meanchey Province totaled 160,196, including 80,465 men and 79,731 females. The difference between the vast difference between men and women is in Chong Kal district. The number of women and men varying in Anlong Veng, Banteay Ampil, Samrong and Trapaing Prasat is quite small. The province has an area of 6,188 km2. Oddar Meanchey province has 4 districts and one town, including 286 villages, 24 communes:
1. Anlung Veng District
2. Banteay Ampil District
3. Chong Kal District
4. Trapaing Prasat District
5. Samraong Town
Due to the stomach problem, the boy, Khi Pheareak also decided to go to the villages to ask for work in the rice-fields to transplant rice seedlings from local villagers to get some money to buy food, take care of his father buying some medicines for him. It is not a high benefit for a small boy to be able to work in as a farmer working to transplant rice seedlings in the rice paddies. Because the weak child works less than the adult, so the boy, Khi Pheareak receives only a small part of his wages. The transplanting of rice is limited in the rainy season, only three to four months cannot last for a long time. One day, a boy Khi Pheareak walks in a track road, sometimes muddy places along the road, full of imagery on the problems that the boy facing many challenges, which are beyond his capacity. At that time, the boy Khi Pheareak was hit with a young man who was walking the same road. At the same time, the boy Khi Pheareak looked up to the young man, who was in adolescence, dressed as a teacher with a bag on his shoulder. Do not delay, the boy Khi Pheareak, raise his both arms to salute and beg for mercy pardon to the young man, and he says, "Brother, please forgive me, because I didn't look at you, and it made me to hit you, my brother." At that moment, the young man raised his right hand to reach the boy's left shoulder and fondle him, and said with softly speech: "Never mind boy, this is just an accident without desire, my dear small brother. What are you going to through big imagination so long?" Without hesitation, a boy Khi Pheareak's speech was with emotion and tears streaming down on his cheeks: "My dear brother, I'm going to ask for a job to get some money to buy some medicines for my father, who is sick lying in bed, my dear brother, I thank you for forgiving me, at this time I'm in a hurry, because I'm afraid of that I'm not in time to work in the rice-fields for transplanting rice seedlings at the end of the village, my dear brother." As soon as the young man heard the boy's speech, the man said to the boy, "Do you know and believe that there is a God who can heal the sick?" Then, the boy Khi Pheareak were happy and said, "I believe my brother, I believe, where that God is, I want that God to heal my father. Now, please, help me and my father, my dear brother!" If you really believe, let's go to your house right now!
When a young man came to his poor home, he found his father lying on the bamboo floor of an old house built up from the ground about two meters high. The young man went up to sit beside the boy Khi Pheareak's father, and saw his skin wrinkled with the bones, the eyes hollowed deeply, and his voice was so hoarse. The young man took his hand and the boy's hand, then called out, and cry out for the Lord who is the Helper, the Living God, the Almighty God, looks upon us, and opens His ears to hear our prayer to Him. And He reaches and stretches His hand to touch the uncle who is sick, the boy Khi Pheareak's father to be free from the sickness right now on, by the power of the Almighty God's hand. The young man's prayer lasted for about half an hour, sweeping his sweat, with a moaning voice and tears out, with a fervent prayer to Him to be healed and to forgive sin from him, and call this family into His flock, which is Jesus Christ, the Head Shepherd. This is the prayer of faith, as the Scripture says, “… If you have faith as a small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” (Matthew 17:20). As prayer continued, then heard the boy Khi Pheareak's father started to sweat, from top to bottom, and his body was shivering, and then he started to sit up and says, "Lord Jesus Christ, I am a sinner, Lord, forgive me of my sin, and I thank You, Lord, that You accept to receive me as your beloved son. I always gratitude You Lord all the time, there is only You is my Savior and heal me from sin!" Having seen the state of being healed and recovering from such an illness, the young man thanked the Lord Jesus Christ for His strong hand with His power to heal, and He shows the miracle for the people in this village that the Lord Jesus Christ is the true and eternal Son of God. He always cares for those who earnestly seek Him, as it is written in the Scriptures: “Therefore I tell you, whether you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours” (Mark 11:24). Later, the young man began to tell the boy Khi Pheareak's father that: "My name is Shinh, the evangelist of Jesus Christ, and has come to this village to preach the salvation of Jesus Christ and I met the boy Khi Pheareak, who told me that his father is sick who sleeps at home and he cannot get up, by hearing like this I and him were in a hurry to come here to pray to the Lord Jesus Christ to make the miracle healing your sickness to be recovered".
After that, the Evangelist then prepared the fire to cook porridge to give the child's father eating to recovery. Then, the evangelist continues to do the work of telling the Gospel to the boy's father and his son Khi Pheareak, to hear about the salvation through the booklet "Who Is God?" First of all, the evangelist asked the boy's father and the boy Khi Pheareak, how they had wondered who God is. According to the Bible, God lives forever and ever. The Bible tells us that God is the Creator of all things in the world. He made the stars and the trees, and all the trees, and all the birds in the air. There is nothing in this world that God did not create. After God created the creatures, God made man, the first man and the first woman, Adam and Eve. Then God put Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden He created. He told them that they could eat every kind of fruit in this garden, except a tree that they did not touch or eat. The tree is called the "tree of knowledge." If they eat that fruit, they will die. One time Satan came in the Garden of Eden. Satan is a bad angel, he hates God and all the good things that God has created. He wants to make everyone sad, suffering, and miserable. He does this by tempting us to sin. He deceived Eve into believing his lies, so that she could eat the forbidden fruit that God had forbidden to eat, and to give to her husband, Adam, and they both ate with together. Adam and Eve disobeyed God's commandments, so they were in great troubles. God knew that they had sinned and He was very distressed. Adam and Eve were separated from the garden. Since then, people have been in troubles. In the world there are wailing and fights. People try to kill each other more fiercely, even disobeying God. Sin has caused the world to have all kinds of troubles. Every time the brothers are fighting to one another, the fight is because of the sin. According to God's promise, He sent Jesus Christ as His Son to suffer and die on the Cross instead of our sinned. He has told us that if we trust Jesus, we will not die when our bodies die. He brings our souls to heaven with Him to have the eternal life. And one day Jesus Christ will come again, then we will receive a new body, and Jesus Christ will take away our sins from the world. There will be no more mourning and sorrow. People will love each other and love God perfectly. Only those who love and trust Jesus Christ can go there. Anyone who does not love Jesus Christ will be thrown into hell. If we accept Jesus Christ as our Savior and pray to Him, He will help us to obey Him, and when we obey Him, we will be more and happier. So do you uncle and brother Khi Pheareak believe and trust Jesus Christ? If you uncle and brother were never invited Him to come in you, then do you uncle and brother accept Him right now? If you uncle and brother are willing to accept Jesus Christ as the Savior for your own lives and pray for the following pattern, I pray: “"Oh, Lord Jesus, I've sinned and done many bad things, I did not love You properly, Forgive me of sin, and may You come to me. I accept You as my Savior and Lord in my life. I believe that You died to save me, May you help me to obey You for Your sake. Amen."”.

She likes to play in the classroom as a teacher explains the lessons. However, Jesus Christ transformed her past into a girl who becoming an obedient girl to her parents, a gentle girl, who helps her parents at home and a good student, who studying hard with a good outstanding in class, making teachers love her and many friends like her very much.
Kampot province is located the southern coastal region, Kampot is arguably the most beautiful province of Cambodia, offering beaches, deserted islands, wooded mountains, caves, a national park, waterfalls, and a picturesque colonial town of the same name. Pepper, salt, and durians are the main agricultural products although the nascent tourist industry is beginning to flourish, filling Kampot town with upscale restaurants and hotels.
Study the Word through the booklet "The Bridge of Life" showed me: "All iniquity is sin. Because every human being has acted wickedly, then every human being is sinful in his heart, in his own words and in his actions. Anyone who acknowledges that he is guilty of sin means that he is looking for his own Creator and he who will be saved from sin." The girl Kham Nang continued, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness, because for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." For this reason, I would like to send my message to every boy and girl that, "Obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Honor your father and mother, and that is the first commandment with a promise; so that is may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth. And this is love that we walk in obedience to His commands. As you have heard from beginning His command is that you walk in love."
Then, the girl Kham Nang develops in her Christian life, by transforming from sin and believes in Jesus Christ, so she gets a new life because of the power of the Holy Spirit. Her faith has developed, with three important things to do: 1) to read the Bible daily. Because He speaks to her through His Word in the Bible, and the girl Kham Nang reads the Word of God every day because God's Word is a strength and a spiritual food for her. 2) She is persistent in prayer. Because prayer is a direct conversation with God. He wants her to talk to Him in prayer. So she tried to pray as much as possible. He has given her all that she needs, because He is the living God. 3) She attends in the fellowship with other Christians. When she believed in Christ and became a member of God's family, she had to find fellow believers like her to have fellowship with together. For example, like many firewood, bind together just fine, but if there is only one firewood in the cooling ground, soon there will be an extinguished firewood. Likewise, the relationship of the girl Kham Nang and other Christians is the same. Therefore, the girl Kham Nang must find a church that has the correct teachings about the faith in Christ and she has to join that church. Amen.

The Testimony of A GIRL, CHAN SREYPICH
in SVAY RIENG Province
The girl Chan Srey Pich, 14-year-old, lives in Svay Chrum district, Svay Rieng province. Svay Rieng province is located in southeastern part of the country, surrounded to the north and east by Vietnam. Svay Rieng Province borders only with Prey Veng province. Bavet is a large city of Svay Rieng province, adjacent to the international border between Cambodia and Vietnam. The province is subdivided into 8 districts. Savay Rieng province is included 8 districts: 1) Chantrea district, 2) Kampong Roh district, 3) Romduol district, 4) Romeas Haek district, 5) Svay Chrum district, 6) Svay Rieng district, 7) Svay Tienb district, and Krong Bavet. The total communes are 80 communes and 690 villages. The current population in this province is about 550,466 people or 3.8% of the country's total population (14,363,519 person in Cambodia, 2007, provincial government data), with 261,318 male and 289,148 female. The population density is therefore 185.6 people per square kilometre.
The girl Chan Srey Pich is a stubborn, rebellious child, disobeying her mother and father, she is a child who does not understand the feelings of others. Moreover, Srey Pich likes to make her siblings crying and never helps working for her parents at all. Every day, however, she always goes out with her companies, Srey Pich also makes quarrels with her friends. Also, when her parents called her to help them, she always argues with her parents. The girl Srey Pech is a less educated girl because she never obeys her teachers in the classroom, so Srey Pich is often makes her parents to be frustrated with her because of her lack of respect to the elderly.
One day, I was walking down the street in my village and found a large crowd of young children surrounding a man, who is speaking to those young children about Jesus Christ. I also walked into the crowd to hear what the man said about. At that moment, I also heard what he said: “Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. “Honor your father and mother”—which is the first commandment with a promise—“so that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth.””
Coming to this phrase shakes my heart to the attention of the phrase: “Children, …“Honor your father and mother”…“so that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth.”” Then I asked him, "What does it mean "go well" uncle? And how is disobedience to parents, what is the act? The man turned to me and answered with a smiling to my question with a fresh phrase that: What we do not obey the parents, those are slanders, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; then they are the people will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, abusive, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God-- having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them.
So children, obey your parents in all things, for this pleases the Lord, even as it is in the law, honor your father and your mother, as the LORD your God has commanded you, so that you may live long and that it may go well with you in the land the LORD your God is giving you. Every word of that man reminds me of my mind, and in my brain, I do not have time to forget. Just a man stopped to speak, I did not delay, ask him again, I asked him of his name. Can I have your name, please, uncle? What is your name? Just after the inquiry, the man immediately replied. Yes, my dear babe, I am an evangelist of Jesus Christ, my name is Duong Sareth. I have come here to bring the Good News of Salvation to the people of this village to accept the Lord, Jesus Christ, the Savior from sin. At the same time, we will also establish the church of Christ in this village. My dear niece, is there anything touch your heart with the Word? Do you really believe there is a Savior, Jesus Christ? Immediately, my lips were lifted up, and I said, "Yes, pastor, I believe in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, a true Redeemer of humanity from the sin." As soon as these words were ended, the little ones who stood with me lifted up their voices and said, "We have accepted the Lord Jesus Christ for the redemption from our sins, too." Then, when the pastor lays his hands on our heads and pray to the Lord Jesus Christ to accept us as His children. At the end of the prayer, he is scheduled to meet with us to study the Word of God at a church building not far from there, with a cross put up on the roof as a note.
Before long, our team of boys and girls had clearly understood the Word, and the pastor and the elders in the church prepared our baptism. Following the steadfast faith of the Lord Jesus Christ, I share the Good News to my parents, who have so often blamed and rebuked me before. With my perseverance, I have always told about Jesus Christ to my parents. One day, God called them to accept faith, and they dedicated themselves to the Lord, just like me.
Now I am thankful for the Lord Jesus Christ that transforms me and the whole family to get salvation from the Son of the Most High Heavenly Father, the Almighty God, the God is over all gods, the Great Doctor is over all doctors, the Shepherd of the Lamb, who is hunger for righteousness. At this moment, peace is also happening in my family and in my village, who are living with us, therefore we encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact we are doing. But we, the whole family as well as our fellow believers in the village, those who hope in the LORD will renew our strength. We will soar on wings like eagles; we will run and grow wear, we will walk and not be faint. As the Word of God as written in Scriptures Isaiah 43:2, "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set ablaze." So the name of the LORD is a fortified tower; the righteous run to it and are safe. I praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. Amen.

Da Reach is a teenager who is wandering in the darkness of a worldly sin that has committed many sins in his life. Because, brother, Da Reach had committed all kinds of sins, thus Da Reach fell short of glory of God. Because sin is a barrier between people and God. Because of sin, we live in this world with sinful nature.
One day, Da Reach received a message that there was an evangelistic group came in the village where he lived. At that time, brother, Da Reach was in despair in his life, and his life was wandering by sin, so Da Reach was eager to know what the preaching was about. What is everyone wanting to know? What is the good news? At that time, in Da Reach's heart seemed to be very jittery, there's something motivate him to hear and know about it. At that time, when he came closer to the place where the Gospel was preached, he saw a crowd gathered surrounded a man who in his arms holding some small booklets, giving to the children, young people, and some adults, and men, and women to read and complete it, then send it back to that man. Just to get closer to the crowd, Da Reach heard the voice of a man, shouted to the crowd, and responded to the questions of the crowd that had interrogated him. Without delay, Da Reach penetrated the crowd to get close to the evangelist to listen to the Good News. Brother, Da Reach, heard the teaching of that man that he taught about sin and the original sin entered into the world by one man, and also death came to the world, because of that sin, so death spread out to all people. Da Reach also heard from the scripture that man confirmed, "For the wages of sin is death." At that time, Da Reach also raised a question to the man: "What is your name? Where are you from? Where do you come from? What do you talk about? What is the death? What is the life? What is sin?" The man responded with a fresh smile, saying, "I am a servant of God, I come here to bring A Good News of Salvation to the men of this village, that they may get free from their sins and obtain eternal life." Then, the evangelist went on to explain to Da Reach and the crowd who are getting surround him to listen to him carefully, “Of course, no one wants to fall to hell, and eternal affliction. That's why people try to find ways to escape from hell. Some try to practice divination, some try to be fasting, others strive for other religions, some try to build good works, and do all kinds of good deeds. These hard work are good for all people to do, but these hard work can do nothing to help us free from sin. As the Bible says, "We have all become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous deeds are like a polluted garment. We all fade like a leaf, and our iniquities, like the wind, take us away." To this point, the Word has touched Da Reach's heart to be woken up that in the past he has acted improperly and relied on his work rather than relying on the saving of Jesus Christ. So brother, Da Reach, continued to ask the evangelist, "So if, Pastor, tell me, how to get saved from sin?" The evangelist replied instantly to the Da Reach, "In short, only Jesus Christ can save us from sin. As the Bible says, "For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. He saved us, not by our good works of righteousness, but by the mercy of the Lord Jesus Christ. Good deed is only a fruit of the faith of the believers in Jesus Christ. But God shows His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
Later, the evangelist also distributed the booklets "The Bridge of Life" and "Who is God?" to Da Reach to study and answer all the questions contained in those booklets and then send them to him to get a new Bible for personal reading. Day after day, the evangelist always went to the village of Da Reach living in order to care for the souls of the people in the village who accepted Jesus Christ, teaching them the Word contained in the two booklets, and also train our brothers, including Da Reach about the Word written in the Bible in order to our fellow believers are stronger in faith.
After that, the evangelist also planted a church in Prek Kak commune, Stung Trang district, Kampong Cham province to the Lord Jesus Christ. Because of the diligence and the desire to know the living Word, brother Da Reach is interested in Genesis 1: 1-31, which says of the Creation of true God, and that the Word inspires our brothers and sisters, including Da Reach who living in the village to be stronger in faith to join fellowship with together, and to come to worship every Sunday to get a fresh Word of God that He speaks to the hearts of those who are in His leadership and direction in everyday life. Day after day, the Word of God deeply is growing into Da Reach's heart that make him to repentance, and to the Redeemer developing a new and great behavior, worthy a Christian youth to be an example in the family and other youths in the village, and in the whole Prek Kak commune.
In obedience to the command of the Lord Jesus Christ, as stated in the Gospel, through Matthew chapter 28, verses 18 to 20, "And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age. Amen”" Da Reach continued to spread the Gospel of Salvation through Jesus Christ to his parents, brothers, sisters, family members, and other young men to accept the Lord Jesus Christ by accepting the Lord to be the Savior to be free from sin, for those who follow the true Savior must become the salt and the light to the world, and they will become Christians like him. From then on, Da Reach's family as well as other families who volunteered to follow Jesus Christ gained peace, happiness, joy, and prosperity in the grace of the God of peace. Amen.

Miss. Rel Savong, a 12th grade high school student living in Wat Luong village, Lolok Sor commune, Pursat province, testified: "Before her belief in Jesus Christ, she had no wisdom to learn, so she was only interested in walking with her friends not to worry about learning. One day, the first semester exam came down to Miss Savong, so she got a bad score, making her ashamed, her friends in class laugh at her, telling her she was not as smart as them. The news was also told to her parents through her classmaster, who visited her home, including her parents' classmates, who lived in the same village, with the result of telling about her studies. Her parents blamed her so much that she was so upset that she went alone to a pile of hay, which is not far from her home.
One day, a teacher who was an evangelist about Jesus visited her home, met her parents, and her. The teacher asked for her family's life with the difficulties that were encountered in daily life, when her parents told that teacher about her lack of academic ability, whether she was able to pass a diploma at the end of the school year or not. She was shamed by the evangelistic teachers of Jesus because her parents should never tell her secret to that teacher.
And the evangelical teacher of Jesus, with a smile, seemed to have no worries, but she told her parents: "Do not be alarmed, for a Savior has come to the earth; He is the Savior of our sins, and He is able to save us from all sin. He is Jesus Christ can help Miss Savong to be wise for learning if she voluntarily accepts the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior, so let she prays to Him that she is a sinner who is willing to follow the Lord Jesus Christ in obedience to Him in order to wash her sins by the blood of Jesus Christ on the cross. Not only the Lord will bless whatever she wants, like wisdom to learn. As soon as she heard the Gospel, and because her desire for wisdom to learn to be able to pass the high school diploma, which will be held at the end of the academic year, she decides to accept the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior in her life so that He could help her and bless her in studies, memorization for every lesson she teaches at school.
Since then, of course, just the hearts of Miss Savong was changed to accept the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior in her life, she was transformed from a walk in vain to have the efforts to learn her lessons. She can remember all lessons that teachers were teaching at schools as well as she was obedient to her parents and to render working at home for her parents. This makes her parents surprised and wondered, but they do not say anything, but they take notice in their hearts. All that she had to repent because of she prayed constantly to the Lord Jesus Christ and told Him about her hardships and shortcomings, and necessities of her life. Through her prayer, the Lord Jesus Christ responded by blessing her to be wise in learning, as well as to all, as a testimony of His power and glory to all the people in the village and the school where she lived and studied. Especially to her parents and the whole family. As a satisfying and delightful result, Miss Savong passed a diploma in High School B degree and then proved that to be true Jesus Christ, and He is alive today. He always takes care for His people. He does not look beyond His people. As stated in James 1: 5, “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.”
Since that day, every Word she has read and continues to read daily grows deeply rooted in her heart, making her continue to preach the Gospel to her parents, her brothers and sisters, and her fellow villagers to accept Jesus Christ as the Lord as the Savior in each individual's life. Because He is God of gods, the living God, faithful God, righteous, and merciful God to all of us, He has never forsaken us. He always shows His tender affection for us all, and He supplies all that we ask, as we read in Genesis 22:14: “place, “The LORD will provide”; as it is said to this day, “On the mount of the LORD it shall be provided.” Likewise, Jesus Christ said in Matthew 7: 7-8: “7“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 8For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.” Amen.

Chea Chen, a 45-year-old fisherman living in Prasat Sambo district, Kampong Thom province, has been praying to the idolatry and his ancestor spirits for his family's survival, getting from poverty and suffering, but he has not seen anyone or anything to help his living conditions, instead it becomes worse and worse.
One day, Mr. Chea Chen met a teacher who is an evangelist preaching about Jesus at that time the teacher had communicated with him with a smile. After his explanation to Chen about salvation from sin that comes from Jesus, the Son of God came to be born with a virgin to suffer and die on the cross instead of our sins, and 3 days later, He rose again from the dead. So, anyone who believes Jesus Christ will be saved and no longer suffering and any kind of trial. Then, that evangelist gave two booklets to Chen for reading and learning that booklets are "Bridge of Life Bridge" and “Who Is God?” Finally, the teacher told Chen: "Whenever you have decided to believe in Jesus, just pray to Him for accepting you as a son of God, asking Him to forgive the sin of you, so He will forgive you, and bless you, brother, and whatever you want."
One day, Chen went out to do his business with his fishing trout. But on that day, he dropped the nets into the water and had no fish to catch, and he remembered the words of the evangelist who told him about Good News of Jesus Christ, if he needs Jesus Christ to help him. Please pray to Him for His forgiveness, and He would bless you as you wish. Just remember that, brother Chen has not slowed down. He bowed his knees down to the ground, fell on his face, and held up his hands with prayer, saying, "Lord Jesus, forgive me of my sin, for I am a sinful man, and accept me as your son. Today I cannot catch anything, Lord. Suddenly, like a noise in his ears told brother Chen, "Drop your nets into the water again you will get fish!" Then, brother Chen started to follow the sound, and suddenly he seemed to be so surprised, as it was unusually weighed when he lifted up, and he saw full of fish in the net. Amazing! Jesus was amazing, wonderful from the prayer!
The next morning, I called for the evangelist and made an appointment to ask him to pray for me because I had converted to the Lord Jesus Christ because of the miracle that the Lord had performed for him. After the evangelist prayed for me, he reminded me that I did not forget to come to worship God on Sunday morning at the church with other people. Then, brother Chen went back home and got a Bible in his hand. After the dinner, the brother began to open the Bible to read. It was strange that he wanted to know it. At the time he opened the Bible, falling to the book of Matthew, chapter 4, he read that right there tells about Jesus to be tempted, and he continued to read paragraph with bold curiosity until Jesus called His first apostles at verse 19, Jesus said to Simon, later called Peter, and Andrew his brother, saying: 'Come, follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. Brother Chen began to pray for the Lord, who had called him directly to enter the evangelistic work of the Lord to bring His Gospel to all the lost people.
Later, Chen also preached the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ to his mother and father, in order for them to be saved as well as to his wife and children.
From that time, Chen was comforted of his daily life by reading the Bible, especially in Matthew 5: 3-12: “3“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 4“Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. 5“Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth. 6“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied. 7“Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy. 8“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. 9“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. 10“Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11“Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account. 12Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.” Amen.
